Carleton Sheets Review
Carleton Sheets informercials seem to have been around forever. His course, "No Down Payment" has existed in one form or another for 20 years. This is a promising sign, as I doubt that any bad program would last that long.
A couple years ago I seriously thought about getting into active real estate investing, and researched Carleton Sheets' program. Here is what I found out:
- His course offers a lot of good, introductory information on real estate. It is great for beginners but may not be too useful for anyone with experience.
- The idea is to buy property with no money down. While this is
possible, it is much easier said than done. I've heard that these
techniques worked well in the 70s, but nowadays it is more difficult
to do.

The Carleton Sheets Course comes with 3 manuals, 3 videos, and 12 CDs. - The course is a starting point, but many people will need mentoring or additional training before being able to make the system really work for them.
It is often said that real estate investing has made more people rich than any other industry. I am not sure if that is true anymore as prices took a serious nosedive starting in 2008 and continues to this day.
This could, however, end up being a once in a lifetime opportunity to get into the real estate market at historic, low prices. I'm not sure if Carleton Sheet's No Money Down strategy will work in this kind of market, but it seems he does offer a free trial so it might be worth it to get the program and see if it works.
